Indonesian Unity Party (Perindo), commonly abbreviated as Perindo Party, is a political party in Indonesia. This party was founded on October 8, 2014, and declared on February 7, 2015, by media tycoon Hary Tanoesoedibjo, owner of MNC Group and business partner of U.S. President Donald Trump.
Initially, Perindo was a social organization declared on February 24, 2013, at Istora Senayan, Jakarta.[3][4] Perindo was then established as a political party on October 8, 2014[5] and declared on February 7, 2015, at Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran, Jakarta.[6] The declaration event was attended by several leaders of the Red and White Coalition (KMP), such as the Chairman of the Golkar Party Aburizal Bakrie, the Chairman of the National Mandate Party Hatta Rajasa, the President of the Prosperous Justice Party Anis Matta, and the Chairman of the United Development Party Djan Faridz. Additionally, Wiranto, the Chairman of Hanura, was also present.[7]
