Abdul Wahid (born November 21, 1980) is an entrepreneur and politician of Indonesia from the National Awakening Party (PKB), who currently serves as the Governor of Riau for the 2025–2030 term. Previously, he was a member of the House of Representatives for the 2019–2024 term representing the Riau II electoral district from the National Awakening Party and a member of the Riau Provincial Legislative Council for two terms from 2009 to 2019. Besides his political career, Wahid is also active in community organizations and the business world. Abdul Wahid became active in politics in the early 2000s. He served as the Deputy Secretary of the Regional Executive Board (DPW) of PKB Riau for two terms, namely 2002–2004 and 2004–2009. He also once served as the Deputy Secretary of the Branch Management Islamic Student Association (HMI) in 2002–2003.
