Adies Kadir
Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives & Deputy Chairman of Commission III 2014–2024
Adies Kadir (born October 17, 1968) is an Indonesian politician. He currently serves as a Member of the House of Representatives (DPR-RI) since 2014 representing the electoral district of East Java I. Adies is a cadre of the Golkar Party and sits on Commission III and is trusted as the Vice Chair of Commission III.[1][2] In the 2019-2024 period, Adies was also entrusted to become the Chair of the Golkar Party Faction in the DPR-RI. In fact, after the resignation of Azis Syamsuddin from the position of Vice Chair of the DPR, Adies' name was rumored to be a candidate to replace him. However, Adies preferred to give that opportunity to the Secretary-General of the Golkar Party, Lodewijk Friedrich Paulus. Then, on October 1, 2024, Adies was selected by the DPP of the Golkar Party to be the representative of the Golkar Party Faction in the leadership seat of the DPR alongside Puan Maharani from the PDI-Perjuangan Faction, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad from the Gerindra Party Faction, Saan Mustopa from the Nasdem Party Faction, and Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijak from the PKB Faction. Adies was assigned to coordinate the scope of duties in the field of Economy and Finance (KOREKKU) covering Commission XI, Commission XII, Commission XIII, the Budget Agency, and the Government Financial Accountability Agency.
