Bambang Soesatyo (born September 10, 1962) is an Indonesian politician and businessman who is the Chairperson of the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia (MPR RI) for the 15th period of 2019-2024.[1] Previously, Bamsoet served as the Chairperson of the People's Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) for the 20th in 2018-2019. Bamsoet was first elected as a member of the DPR RI in the 2009 election. Currently, Bamsoet is recorded as a member of Commission III of the DPR RI from the Golkar Party for the period of 2024-2029.
