Mohammad Eddy Dwiyanto Soeparno (born May 6, 1965) is an Indonesian politician who currently serves as the Deputy Chairman of the MPR RI. He previously served as the Secretary-General of Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN) from 2015 to 2024. This alumnus of Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia is the son of M. Soeparno (deceased), the President Director of Garuda Indonesia from 1988 to 1992. Eddy is married to Sawitri Hardjoprakoso, with whom he has a pair of children, namely Sasongko Soeparno and Safiyya Azzahra. His involvement in PAN has been ongoing for a long time. Eleven years ago, for example, he left his job at ABN AMRO Bank Indonesia to help Amien Rais' team in the 2004 Presidential Election campaign. Source: Wikipedia
