Edi Purwanto (born July 4, 1980) is an Indonesian politician. He is a member of DPR RI for the 2024–2029 period from the PDI-P electoral district of Jambi. Previously, Edi served as the Chairman of the Jambi Provincial DPRD for the 2019–2024 period. Edi once held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Jambi Provincial DPRD from 2014–2019 but resigned to run as the Candidate for Deputy Governor of Jambi for the 2016–2021 period alongside the incumbent Governor candidate Hasan Basri Agus.
