Gus Irawan Pasaribu (born in Padang Sidempuan, July 31, 1964) is an Indonesian politician. He was elected as a member of the DPR/MPR RI for 2 terms, namely the period 2014 – 2019 (with a vote count of 188,205) and the period 2019 – 2024 (with a vote count of 168,342) from the Gerindra Party fraction representing the North Sumatra II electoral district which includes 19 regencies/cities. Before diving into the political world, he was a professional in the banking sector. An interesting achievement of Gus Irawan Pasaribu in the banking sector is that he started as a personnel bureau employee, and within about 10 years (1990 – 2000) at a very young age he quickly held the highest position at Bank Sumut as the president director, at which time he was only 36 years old.
