H. A. Bakri HM., S.E. (born May 15, 1968) is an entrepreneur and politician Indonesia. He has been a member of DPR RI for four terms since 2009 through the electoral district of Jambi. In his home region Jambi, Bakri, more commonly known as Bang Haji is recognized as a successful entrepreneuras well as a politician who is quite vocal in voicing the aspirations of the community, especially in efforts to advance infrastructure. Bakri's interest in the business world has been evident since he was still in elementary school, following in the footsteps of his mother who is a trader in Jambi. His significant activities and attention in the business world have successfully brought him to prestigious positions in national business organizations, namely as the Chairman of Kadin, Chairman of Hipmi, and Chairman of Gapensi for the Jambi region.
