Dr. Ir. Harris Turino Kurniawan, M.Si., M.M. or more commonly known simply as Harris Turino, (born July 15, 1968) is a politician from PDIP, entrepreneur, and academic. He became famous after successfully graduating with a doctoral degree from UI with the predicate cum laude and achieved an MURI record as the fastest graduate of Strategic Management doctoral program. On November 1, 2021, Harris was inaugurated as a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) for the 2019-2024 term through the mechanism of interim replacement replacing M. Prakosa who was previously appointed as a full ambassador of Indonesia to Italy. In the early stages of his career, he became a professional in the fields of leather, printing, and chemicals. Now, he is engaged in high-end beauty business together with his wife, and eventually decided to dive into the political world and run as a legislative candidate from PDIP in the electoral district of Central Java IX.
