Hetifah Sjaifudian, (born October 30, 1964) is the only woman among the eight members of the DPR-RI from the East Kalimantan electoral district and has served for three terms. Currently, Hetifah serves as the Vice Chair of Commission X of the DPR RI, which covers education, culture, sports, youth, tourism, creative economy, libraries, and literacy. In addition to her role as a Parliament Member, Hetifah also holds the position of Vice Chairperson of the DPP Golkar Party in the Social Welfare sector, Chairperson of the DPP Al-Hidayah Study Group, Deputy Secretary-General of the Indonesian Engineers Association (PII), and a member of the Advisory Board of the School of Architecture, Planning, and Policy Development (SAPPK ITB). Her remarkable achievements are also reflected in her recognition as the only legislative figure from the Golkar Party faction in the DPR RI to receive the MKD Award for her positive contributions to enhancing the image and authority of the DPR RI.
