Habib Idrus Salim Aljufri, Lc., M.B.A. (born October 28, 1985) is a young preacher who actively preaches in the community and on social media, businessman, and politician from Justice and Prosperity Party (PKS). At the beginning of his political career, Habib Idrus started with the position of Special Staff to the President of PKS 2019 - 2024 Ahmad Syaikhu. Currently, Habib Idrus serves as an member of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia 2024–2029 from electoral district Banten III (Tangerang Regency, Tangerang City, and South Tangerang). Habib Idrus ran for the first time with very high trust from the community in the Banten III region. It is evident that Habib Idrus was in second place (Electoral District of Banten III) after Airin Rachmi Diany with a total of 184,407 votes. In addition, Habib Idrus remains actively involved in preaching as the Chairman of Indonesian Young Preachers Association (HDMI) from 2018 to present. Previously, Habib was actively involved in international youth organizations as the Chairman of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth Branch in Gombak Malaysia (World Assembly of Muslim Youth or WAMY) from 2011-2012.
