Bustami Hamzah is a career bureaucrat born in Pidie in 1967 who started his career at the Aceh Regional Secretariat as the Head of the Finance Bureau's Administrative Sub-Division (2004–2008) before being promoted to serve as the Acting Governor of Aceh. Promoting the vision of "Aceh Bertamaddun," he focuses on the modernization of regional government with Islamic values. With a long experience in local bureaucracy, Bustami presents himself as a stable figure who prioritizes administrative progress, public service, and religious moderation while running for the Governor of Aceh.

Tgk. H. M. Fadhil Rahmi, Lc., M.Ag (born September 6, 1978, Langsa, Aceh) is an academic and religious figure who is active in Islamic organizations and the santri community. He completed his higher education at Al-Azhar University, Cairo (2008), and finished his master's degree at UIN Ar-Raniry (2017–2021). Fadhil previously served as the chairman of the Alumni Association of the Middle East (IKAT) Aceh for two terms and is active in KNPI and the NU organization in Aceh. Elected as a member of the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia representing Aceh (2019–2024), he is known for his concern for pesantren education, including becoming a foster parent for santri from Pulau Aceh . In the Aceh gubernatorial election of 2024, Fadhil is accompanied by Bustami Hamzah as the candidate for vice governor, backed by both national and local coalitions.
