Andika Perkasa is known as a former Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) General (Ret.) and was born on December 21, 1964, in Bandung. Andika joined the PDI Perjuangan in the 2024 presidential election. He also became a part of the National Winning Team (TKN) for Ganjar-Mahfud MD while serving as the Deputy Chair of TKN. His military career began after he graduated from the Military Academy (Akmil) in 1987. Then Andika held a prominent position in the military as he had previously served as the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army from 2018 to 2021. Mayor of Semarang (2013–2022)
Hendrar Prihadi, or Hendi, was born on March 30, 1971, in Semarang and is known as the former Mayor of Semarang. He also served as the Head of the Government Procurement Policy Agency since 2022. The 53-year-old man is also known as a long-time cadre of PDI Perjuangan and previously served as a member of the Central Java Provincial Parliament from 2009 to 2014.
