Edy Rahmayadi is known as the Governor of North Sumatra from 2018 to 2023. The man, who was born on March 10, 1961, in Sabang, previously had a career as an Indonesian National Army soldier. According to KPU, Eddy Rahmayadi attended elementary school at SD Slakoa from 1966 to 1972. He then continued his education at SMP Angkasa Cabang Medan from 1972 to 1975 and at SMAN 1 Medan from 1975 to 1979. Edy began his military career after studying at the Military Academy (Akmil) and graduated in 1985. He later served as a battalion commander in the ranks of the Army's Special Forces (Kopassus). Hasan also has a number of organizational experiences ranging from Head of Banser, Chairperson of PP GP Ansor, and Chairperson of PB PMII.
