Aunur Rafiq is a man born on August 16, 1964, in Parit Muda and is known to the public as the Regent of Karimun. The 64-year-old man studied at SMAN 397 Karimun from 1980 to 1983. He then continued his undergraduate education at the University of North Sumatra (1998) and his postgraduate studies at Padjadjaran University (2004). He also pursued a Doctorate at IPDN Jatinangor (2019). Aunur is known to have served as the Regent of Karimun for two terms, from 2016 to 2021 and from 2021 to 2024.
