Muzakir Manaf, commonly known as Mualem, was born on April 3, 1964, in Seuneudon, North Aceh. He is a former military commander of the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) since the early 2000s, who later led the post-Helsinki 2005 transition as the Chairman of the Aceh Transition Committee. Mualem founded and led the Aceh Party since 2007 and served as the Deputy Governor of Aceh from 2012 to 2017. After winning the Aceh regional election in 2024 with 53% of the votes, he was officially inaugurated as the Governor of Aceh for the 2025–2030 term on February 12, 2025.
Fadhlullah

Fadhlullah, commonly known as Dek Fad, was born on June 15, 1981, in Pidie, Aceh. He is a former fighter of the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) and currently serves as the Deputy Governor of Aceh for the 2025–2030 term alongside Muzakir Manaf. Previously, Fadhlullah was a Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the Gerindra faction for two terms (2014–2024) and served as the Chairman of the Gerindra Aceh Regional Leadership Council, after being active in the Aceh Party from 2005 to 2012. With a background in military and legislative activism, he is known as a figure who bridges the roots of historical conflict with the new Aceh government.
