The full name of Natalis Tabuni, S.S., M.Si, was born in Soanggama, Intan Jaya Regency, Central Papua Province, on July 11, 1977. Natalis Tabuni previously served as the first Regent of Intan Jaya from the Nasdem Party. Tabuni served as Regent for 10 years (2 terms). The terms were 2012-2017 and 2017-2022. Before becoming Regent, Natalis was a civil servant with the last position as the Head of the Public Works Department of Intan Jaya Regency. The father of 3 children has joined several organizations. Among others, he was the chairman of the KNPI of Pegunungan Bintang Regency (2006-2009), Coordinator of the Binterbusih Foundation in Solo and Yogyakarta (2001-2003), and Chair of the Moni Student Association in Jayapura (1996-1998). This Catholic politician completed his primary education at SD YPPK Titigi, Sugapa, Paniai at that time (1990). SMP YPPK Waghete, Deiyai (1992). Vocational High School N 1 East Mimika, Timika (1999). Natalis holds a degree from the Fajar Timur School of Theology Philosophy in Jayapura, majoring in Theology (1999). Titus Natkime is a legal practitioner and community figure from Papua who currently serves as Vice Governor of Central Papua for the 2025–2030 term, accompanying Governor Natalis Tabuni. Previously, he was known as Vice President Stakeholder of PT Freeport Indonesia, and was active in various organizations and social activities in Papua. As a native of the Amungme tribe, Titus has a strong commitment to the empowerment of indigenous communities and social justice. In the 2024 regional elections, he is running as a candidate for Vice Governor of Central Papua alongside Natalis Tabuni and is supported by a coalition of parties including the NasDem Party, the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), the Ummat Party, and the Labor Party.
