Suhardi Duka (born May 10, 1962) is a politician and Governor of West Sulawesi for the 2025-2030 term. Previously, he served as Regent of Mamuju for two terms, from 2005–2010 and 2010–2015, and as the Chairman of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of Mamuju Regency from 2000–2005. Suhardi obtained his bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Hasanuddin University, Makassar from 1982 to 1986. Before pursuing a career in politics, Suhardi worked as a Civil Servant (PNS) since 1985. After joining Golkar Party in 1989, he briefly became the Chairman of Commission D of the Mamuju Regency DPRD from 1997-1999, Vice Chairman of the Mamuju Regency DPRD from 1999-2000, and Chairman of the Mamuju Regency DPRD from 2000-2005. Salim S. Mengga

Born in Pambusuang, Polewali Mandar Regency, West Sulawesi on September 24, 195. Salim is an alumnus of the AKABRI class of 1974 from the Cavalry branch. The last position of this two-star general was the Commander of the Military Regional Command XV/Pattimura. After a career spanning many years in the military, Salim finally entered the world of politics by becoming a member of the Indonesian Parliament (DPR RI) for the period 2009 to 2014. He made his way to Senayan after being endorsed by the Democratic Party and was elected from the electoral district of West Sulawesi, then served on Commission I, which deals with Defense, Foreign Affairs, and Information. Salim Menga was re-elected as a member of the DPR-RI for the period 2014-2019 from the Democratic Party for the West Sulawesi electoral district after receiving 51,168 votes. Source: antaranews.com
