Quoting from KPU, Syamsuar is a man born on June 8, 1954, in Jumrah and is known as the former Regent of Siak for 2 periods before eventually being elected as the Governor of Riau. It is known that Syamsuar was elected as the Governor of Riau alongside Edy Nasution for the 2019-2023 term. He also began his career as a civil servant in the Subdivision of Protocol for Bengkalis Regency. Syamsuar attended school at SD Jumrah (1966), SMP Bagansiapiapi (1969), and SMA 1 Bengkalis (1972). Mawardi Muhammad Saleh

Mawardi's full name is Mawardi Muhammad Saleh and he was born on June 24, 1969, in Bangkinang. According to Golkar Riau, he is known as a lecturer and has a distinguished education. This 55-year-old man had his education at SDN 007 Dusun Cubadak Bangkinang (1982), Pondok Pesantren Darun Nahdhah Tawalib Bangkinang (1988), and MAN Pekanbaru (1988). He then pursued his Bachelor's degree at Madinah Islamic University in 1995. He also continued his postgraduate and Doctoral studies at the same university in 2000 and 2004.
