John Wempi Wetipo, S.H., M.H. (born September 15, 1972) is the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs of Indonesia from June 15, 2022, to September 27, 2024. He previously served as Deputy Minister of Public Works and Housing of Indonesia from October 25, 2019, to June 15, 2022, and had also served as Regent of Jayawijaya for two terms from 2008 to 2013 and 2013 to 2018. In the 2018 Papua Gubernatorial Election, he participated as a candidate for Governor of Papua against the incumbent Lukas Enembe. Wempi Wetipo completed his education at YPPGI Hitigima Elementary School, Wamena (1985), Junior High School 2 Wamena (1988), and YPPK Taruna Dharma High School Jayapura (1991). Wempi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law (2011) and a Master's degree in Law (2013) from Cendrawasih University. Wempi worked as a Civil Servant (PNS) in Jayawijaya Regency from 1996 to 1998. He then was appointed as the Head of Promotion and Marketing Section of the Jayawijaya Regency Tourism Office from 1998 to 2006. He then ended his civil servant position as the Head of General Affairs of the Jayawijaya Regional Secretariat from 2006 to 2008. Sources
Agustinus Anggaibak

Agustinus Anggaibak is a man born on August 17, 1980, in Agimuga and is known for actively participating in several organizations. Quoting from the official KPU website, he once served as the Chairman of the Community Participation Cooperative of Mimika from 2002 to 2006. He then became the Committee of the Golkar Party in the Agimuga District from 2022 to 2006. Agustinus also served as the Chairman for the DPC of the Hanura Party in Mimika Regency from 2008 to 2013. He is also the Vice Chairman VI of the Golkar DPD Level II of Mimika Regency for the 2023-2027 period. Currently, Agustinus Anggaibak is running as a candidate for Vice Governor in the Central Papua Gubernatorial Election alongside Wempi Wetipo, replacing Ausilius You, who was reported to have passed away last October.
