Willem Wandik

Willem Wandik, S.Sos., was born on August 17, 1975, in Konda, Konawe Selatan Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. He is a politician from Papua who currently serves as the Regent of Tolikara for the 2025–2030 period, alongside Deputy Regent Yotam Wonda. Previously, he served as a member of the People's Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) from the Papua electoral district for two terms, namely 2014–2019 and 2019–2024, representing the Democratic Party. In the DPR, he is active in Commission V, which focuses on transportation, public works, and rural development and backward areas. Furthermore, since 2020, he has served as the Deputy Chair of the Democratic Party, making him the first native son of Papua to hold that position.
Aloisius Giyai
Director of Jayapura Regional Public Hospital
Dr. drg. Aloysius Giyai, M.Kes., is a health professional from Papua with extensive experience in hospital services. Currently, he serves as the Director of RSUD Jayapura, a position he has held since January 2020. In August 2021, he was removed from this position by Governor Lukas Enembe without a clear reason. However, in May 2023, based on the recommendations of the ASN Commission, he was reinstated by the Acting Governor of Papua, Dr. Ridwan Rumasukun. Previously, Aloysius also served as the Head of the Papua Provincial Health Office and Director of RSUD Abepura. In the 2024 regional elections, he is running as a candidate for the Deputy Governor of Central Papua paired with Willem Wandik. Sources
